The beaches at Penang National Park are among the turtle landing sites in the Peninsular. The turtle species that nest on these beaches include the Green (Chelonia mydas) and the Olive-Ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea) turtle species. Among the beaches that are locations for turtle landing are Pantai Keracut and Pantai Teluk Kampi.

There is a Turtle Conservation Centre establish in Pantai Keracut since 1990. The Turtle Conservation CentreĀ  perform management and conservation program include turtle educational program, research and observation program, R & D program and so on.
